The Country Café is so excited to welcome back Jonny Morgan on Sunday 6th July 2025 for our first Sunday afternoon session! Accompanied once again by the very talented Eve Lesedi on saxophone, and Joe Coombs on guitar.
Following an outstanding first show during March, these guys are back by popular demand!
Doors open at 12.00pm with music 2.00-5.00pm.
Age limit reduced to over 12 years old for Sunday sessions (But please bring ID for drinks if you’re lucky enough to look under 25!) No groups larger than 6 please.

The 2024 Bob Harris - ‘Emerging Artist of the Year’ - Jonny Morgan is an Indie singer/songwriter who has found his unique Americana sound after spending much of his life hopping across the Atlantic and becoming Inspired from an early age by American roots music.
In November 2023, Jonny released his highly anticipated debut album, ‘Good Luck With the Music’; a break up album combining real life anecdotes and metaphors of heartache, life lessons and self discovery. The album has been featured on platforms such as Spotify's Notable, Mahogany Sessions, Absolute Country, and BBC Introducing. Influenced by artists such as The War On Drugs, Ray LaMontagne, and Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Jonny’s sound blends ambient and emotive soundscapes that resonate deeply with listeners. Recently, Jonny has performed at iconic venues such as Glastonbury Festival, Union Chapel, the Bluebird Cafe, captivating audiences with his heartfelt folk songs, charismatic storytelling and insights into his craft.
Recently, Jonny has also collaborated with Nashville-based artist Leon Majcen on a side project titled ‘The Biscuit Dispute’. The EP, recorded in Tampa, Florida with producer Andrew Boullianne (Post Malone), includes the track ‘Jumpin’, featured on Spotify’s ‘Blues Roots’ editorial playlist and Joe Bonamassa’s ‘Cutting Edge Blues.’ The start of the year saw Jonny performing at the UK AMA Awards alongside Jason Isbell, Drew Holcomb, and Michele Stodart (The Magic Numbers).
Saxophonist, vocalist and flautist Eve Lesedi, described by Michael Eavis (Founder of Glastonbury Festival) as 'a bloody livewire!' was born in Manchester, grew up in Cornwall and Somerset and now resides just outside of London. Her soulful, powerful voice along with her iconic gritty saxophone solos combine to create a truly unique sound.
Eve Lesedi began live performances at the age of 15 in venues local to her in Somerset. Since then, music has taken her around the UK and to venues internationally. She performs original music in her own right, but is also a session saxophonist and singer.
Eve has performed on main stages at festivals such as Beautiful Days Festival, Black Deer Festival and Party By The Parrett. She has also played in iconic venues across the UK, including O2 Academy Birmingham, O2 Academy Islington, The Half Moon (Putney), Hampton Court Palace, Twickenham Stadium and The Basement (Nashville). Eve is also in high demand for private events, which have taken her to venues such as Claridges, Madame Tussauds, Castle Bonaria (Tuscany, Italy) and Sandhurst Military Academy
Joe Coombs is an experienced guitarist well known for his professional playing standard, dependability and ease of working with. Joe has worked hard to develop a unique sound and style, whilst being able to adapt to any musical situation.
He has toured and gigged internationally with artists such as Annie Keating, Yola, Robert Vincent, Demi Marriner, Laura Evans, Sara Petite, Sam Morrow, Jaime Wyatt, Jennifer Crook, Jonny Morgan, Alice Wallace, Lynne Hanson and Newton Country as well as appearing on several BBC Radio 2 shows, and Bob Harris' Under The Apple Tree Sessions.
