Featuring singers Keith Porter, Jamie Cook and Claire Williams, harmonies were always going to be front and centre in The Jackson Line, who deliver a modern take on classic country and Americana. While they're comfortable sitting in the country genre, each member, including guitarist Jim Cross, brings a wide range of differing influences to the table to create thoughtful, melodic songs, which capture the essence of Americana while allowing their other influences to shine through.

Over the last few years, the band have been playing and releasing songs from their sophomore EP, California, recorded in Winnipeg, Canada with Juno Award-winning producer Murray Pulver (The Bros. Landreth, Katy Hurt). The first single, Shade of the Pines, featured on Apple Music’s 'Today's Country' editorial playlist, while the second, Gonna Get To You, was showcased on Baylen Leonard's Front Porch on Absolute Country as well as on Countryline Radio. In November 2024, their final single from the EP, Feelings Gone, was played by renowned DJ Neil Fox on Black Deer Radio as a world exclusive before the sold-out launch of the EP at London's famous Green Note venue.

Nominated in 2024 for Band of the Year at the British Country Music Association Awards, the group continue to progress, with recent appearances across London at venues including The 229, Pizza Express Holborn, The Jazz Cafe and The Crypt at St Martin In The Fields adding weight to a growing list of festival appearances including Buckle & Boots, Black Deer, SpeedFest and Tennessee Fields.

2025 has seen The Jackson Line cement their reputation as a band capable of nights of heartfelt storytelling as well as full-on country rock. Spotted delivering an up-tempo full-band party set in London, the band were invited to perform in the American Express lounge at The O2 during the C2C Festival, entertaining the crowds with a seamless blend of originals and classic country covers.
