Ryan Evans is an award-winning country artist and songwriter from Wolverhampton, England, quickly establishing himself as one of the most exciting emerging names on the country music scene. Known for his powerful vocals, authentic songwriting, and energetic live performances, Ryan blends traditional country storytelling with a modern edge, creating music that connects with audiences wherever he performs.
His track “Boots On” was the song that first brought him wider attention, helping put him firmly on the radar, with subsequent releases including Never Gonna Change (The Way I Look At You), Caught In The Headlights, and Kinda Crazy ’Bout You continuing to build momentum. Kinda Crazy ’Bout You earned national radio support and Apple Music playlist placements, while his latest release, The Head Honcho, showcases his love of classic honky-tonk influences and a rocky blues edge, highlighting his versatility as an artist.
Alongside his solo work, Ryan has also begun to establish himself as a songwriter, recently co-writing Two Horse Town for Liam Price, further expanding his presence within the country songwriting scene.
Ryan also currently hosts a songwriter’s listening room called The In Crowd, which has proven highly successful, selling out every event and showcasing some of the best artists in the scene.
Ryan’s music has received support from Absolute Radio Country, where he was selected as a Spotlight Artist by Baylen Leonard, who praised him saying, “I think he sounds so good, and I’m excited for him to do big things.” His music has also been championed by CountryLine Radio and BBC Introducing, where he was named Artist of the Week.
A highly regarded live performer, Ryan has shared stages with artists including Kezia Gill and Maggie Baugh. Kezia Gill has praised him, saying, “He really is fantastic and it’s one of those situations I strongly believe once people see him he will be one of the biggest things to break on the UK Country Scene.” He has also performed at major festivals such as Buckle & Boots and Country Calling, and taken his music to audiences across Europe, including Switzerland. He has also performed at Nashville Sounds In The Round at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall, further cementing his reputation as a compelling live performer and songwriter. Ryan continues to build momentum as he sets his sights on Nashville and the international country music stage.
With a growing catalogue of releases, increasing industry support, and an ever expanding fanbase, Ryan Evans is emerging as one of the most exciting rising voices in country music today.
