Welcoming back again on the 18th July, one of The Country Cafe’s all time favourite artists, the legendary Marcus Bonfanti!
Doors open at 6.00pm and Music starts between 7.15-7.30pm.
We typically run over 21 evenings, however children 14 and over will be welcome on a Saturday night if prior agreed with management, and they are accompanied by a suitable adult.
(Bring ID if you’re lucky enough to look under 25)
No groups larger than 6 please. If you are intending to come as a group of 5 or 6, our tables of this size are very limited in number, so we would appreciate you placing your booking as one group so we can plan to try and seat you together.
Your ticket will guarantee you a seat and table in the venue. HOWEVER, location of this seating is first come first served, so please arrive early for your pick of the best tables.

At The Country Café, we are an authentic Southern style Listening Room. This means there is one simple rule : You allow our musicians to set the tone of the room. If it’s upbeat and high tempo, join in! If its intimate and personal then please respect the musician and listen, keeping chatter and noise levels to a minimum. Our musicians are not background noise.
Marcus Bonfanti is an award-winning singer, guitarist and songwriter from London. He has been a member of legendary British rock and roll band ‘Ten Years Aſter’ for a decade releasing 3 albums with them. He also fronts The Ronnie Scott’s Blues Explosion monthly residency now into its 15th year at the prestigious London venue. Twice winner of the British Blues Award for Best Acoustic Performer and Best Songwriter as well as countless nominations in other categories, Marcus has released 3 critically acclaimed solo albums and toured the world with his own band and other artists.
He has worked with Eric Clapton, Van Morrison, Tom Jones, PP Arnold, Robben Ford, Ginger Baker, Ronnie Wood, Paul Carri!, Phil Manzanera, David Gilmore, Fisherman’s Friends, Izo Fitzroy, Johnny Hates Jazz, Jason Donovan, The Selecter, Daniel Beddingfield, The Wanted, Rebecca Ferguson, Adam Lambert, Cliff Richard, Bernie Marsden, Eric Burdon, Sarah Jane Morris, Findlay Brown, Kristina Train, Roachford. For the last five years Marcus has been heavily involved with The Spitz Music Charity, an organisation that creates opportunities for musicians to go into Care Homes, Hospitals and Children’s Hospitals to perform for and write songs with the residents and patients.
More recently he has also become involved with The Prison Choir Project helping to run choirs in some of the prisons across the UK as part of rehabilitation courses. Known for his deep powerful vocal style and ability to combine many different guitar styles to create his own unique sound, Bonfanti’s live shows are full of a raw energy that many people thought had left live music a long time ago.
