The South West’s answer to Country Rock.

Ben is the new generation of the recent pedigree of fresh English singer/songwriters. Critiqued as bridging the storytelling gap between the likes of Luke Combs, Ed Sheeran and Scotty McCreery.

Realising his passion for writing & performing by releasing his first and second EP unaided, Ben set out to have his voice heard. His songs have clarity beyond his years. His music career started young, learning his craft with any open mic willing to stage him and since then has gone on to play around the UK. Born in Bristol, South West England, Ben followed his own ear for song writing & developed a style that enhances the emerging British Country scene. Taking influence from many artists and trying to break the curve of the standard singer/songwriter.

Ben has become a growingly aware and prominent artist to look out for. Having released his self titled debut album and released several singles, Ben has amassed over 40 million streams online and has been on line ups with artists such as Scouting For Girls, Billy Ocean, Kezia Gill, Natalie Imbruglia and more. He has been featured on BBC Radio Bristol as House artist of the week and has featured on hundreds of radio shows across the globe. One of his recent single ‘Living For The Weekend’ was nominated for UK Country Song of the Year by UK Country Awards. Having released his new motivational track ‘Almost there’ in March and featuring on a Country House collaboration ‘Think of Me’ with Garnic, Ben has one more MASSIVE single to release in 2025….

Ben lists many influences that span through many genres and eras but he notes a few extremely influential artists ranging from AC/DC, Kenny Chesney, Luke Combs, Passenger, Scotty McCreery, Ed Sheeran, The Script and more.

“Ben Hutcheson, a young singer/songwriter with a wisdom beyond his years.
His lyrics tackle universal themes such as love and loss, yet also weave captivating stories, with a contemporary feel. With a warm, rich voice he expresses emotion and authenticity and makes a genuine connection with his audience.”
- Julianne Regan (All About Eve)

“Ben Hutcheson’s dark husky growl sings of a world of intimacy and observation. Love, lust and tenderness, haunted dancehalls and broken promises - Ben’s world is weary though alive due to delicacy and romance. From Portishead to Nashville this is music for lovers, vagrants and thieves.”
