Founded in, you guessed it, 1888, our historic general store began life as an undertakers, become an ironmongers and then a general hardware store. Through the years it’s been many things, including since the new owners took to the reins, a grass roots country music venue called The Country Café.

Now as part of its further growth, PG1888 makes the change to meet the demand and fall inline with its sister company by reintroducing itself as the go to Western store in the South East.
